does anyone use xanga anymore?

somebody mentioned xanga to me today, so i figured i'd attempt an update. life is.....interesting. started a new job last week. it's work. outside, in the heat. i love it. i've been working with our college group at church a lot, and i'm enjoying that. whitney's gone to school, and that's rough, but i'm surviving. there's a lot more, probably, but that's all i feel like typing right now. time to go play some cards

when in doubt, mumble.....

that's what my fortune cookie said. works for me.

i'm psyched/dreading these next few weeks. thrilled because i'm getting to chaperone two youth camps in the span of three weeks, and i know that's gonna be all kinds of fun. mortified because i'm already exhausted, and two weeks of little sleep while spending all day running around in the heat and trying to keep up with a bunch of teenagers certainly won't help. plus i'm missing two weeks of work, which doesn't make things impossible, but it does make them tight. i get tired of money being tight. i also get tired of trying to make a lot of money, which leads me back to being exhausted. i'm going to sleep. so i can go make money tomorrow. joy.

	i swing danced for three hours friday night. i canoed/kayaked 11 miles over four hours saturday. i worked open to close for a total of 11 hours yesterday. i slept really good last night. and i'm going to be real lazy today. thank God for mondays.
